What do I have to bring?
Voters must bring a government-issued photo ID.
Tennessee driver’s license (must be from TN)
Tennessee photo ID card
Military ID
U.S. passport
Student and university IDs do NOT qualify.
Can I bring an interpreter?
All voters have the right to bring an interpreter to vote.
This person can be a friend, neighbor, or relative.
The interpreter does not need to show ID but will be asked to sign a form stating they are there only as the voter’s interpreter.
Voters must bring their own interpreter – the polling place does not provide one.
